Change the future with us. • Communicate efficiently with Function Heads across a range of countries & functions, building strong relationships to ensure reporting and commentary is aligned when it comes to HQ reporting. • Commercial and controlling issues, incl. monthly review & commentary (gross costs, FTEs, and balance sheet), forecasting, budgeting, AP & AR monitoring, internal control requirements • Managing the monthly closing activities in line with local system & reporting timetables and function expectations to a high quality (performing competence checks, managing accruals, prepayments and other financial adjustments etc) • Think outside the box, procactively look at better solutions and contonuous improvement • Provide internal benchmarking and scenario calculations where needed. • Ownership of a selection business units, including all standard reporting for the function (GFB Reporting, gross cost, recovery, variance analysis). • Lead the set-up and embedding of effective financial processes and charging methodologies for all usage based charging. Provide data to support the setting up of ISAs as necessary • Participate in process improvement initiatives across the R2R UK team and Bangalore R2R team but not limited to PDCA, LEAN workshops, best practice sharing We don’t need superheroes, just super minds • Qualified accountant/ qualified by experience • Experience of working in a financial/commercial role. • Sound knowledge of Siemens commercial framework and guidelines • Interpersonal/communication skills - both verbal and written with a high level of situational sensitivity and political/wider organisational awareness. • Excellent IT skills, Microsoft Office, SAP, Smart Reporting • Shows an aptitude for progressively taking on direct responsibility for discrete tasks We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
