This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional software engineer, looking for the next step in your career. The Senior Software Engineer position provides you the opportunity to contribute to the development of next generation products in the medical imaging and workflow space. You will be Responsible for the following: As a member of a global development team working under an Agile methodology you will design and implement portions of a next-generation enterprise system. You will create and execute unit tests and contribute to Integration Test planning, Component Testing and System Test. You will create and contribute to Design Specifications and System Integration Test Specifications. You will deliver on-time, working results meeting the specified functional requirements and quality attributes. This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to develop your career with Healthineers: You have experience developing with C#, Angular, HTML5, CSS, and experience with Web and Window Application and respective frameworks (JavaScript, Node.js, .Net Core). You have experience using API standards (REST, JSON, XML) and gRPC. You have basic knowledge of WebView2, containers and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). You have experience developing in C++, WPF, Visual Basic, SQL Server, and with Windows and Linux operating systems. You have knowledge of and experience using software design principles & patterns. You have experience with Enterprise Imaging workflow applications, including PACS/RIS, and experience with IHE Integration, HL7 Interfacing, DICOM standard communications, in particular Modality Worklist, MPPS, and Query/Retrieve. You are results-oriented and hyper-focused on meeting individual and team commitments, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and are an excellent communicator You excel at creating and contributing to design specifications, creating eminently high quality, testable units of code, creating and executing unit tests, and contributing to Integration Test planning, Component Testing and System Test. Required skills to have for the success of this role Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science 10+ years software engineering experience, developing software applications utilizing the technologies outlined above. You must be a self-motivated, fast, independent learner who comes up to speed quickly on new technologies, processes, and best practices and who works well both independently and as part of globally dispersed agile development team.
