Position Summary

Bentley’s Infrastructure IoT business unit is seeking a highly motivated individual to work in our user success team. You  will be in contact with our users all over the world and assist them with product support and related items.

 

Location: This position is remote, based from a home office with preference in Eastern or Central time zone

 

Your Day-to-Day

• Resolving users' application questions or problems in the areas of software configurations/setup, product functionality and bugs/enhancements 
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to users through the Infrastructure IoT helpdesk system
• Properly escalate unresolved issues to internal teams (software developers and product managers)
• Assist with setup, understanding, and testing of new sensors to expedite integration development
• Provide structured training and onboarding to users to ensure successful projects and client understanding
• Assist with maintaining knowledge base support articles hosted in the Infrastructure IoT helpdesk system
• Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions
• Periodically support field installations of Infrastructure IoT connectivity devices and third-party sensors at project sites   domestically
• Maintain positive relationships with clients

 

What You Bring to The Team

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mining, Geotechnical, closely related) or relevant experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in engineering role or technical support field
• Knowledge of Jira and/or similar tools  
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have high attention to detail, as this individual will be interfacing with clients and serve as the liaison between first-hand application experience and the engineering team
• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer. The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
• This role requires travel occasional travel to a Bentley office location and/or user sites up to 15%
