In this role, Supply Chain Data Analyst would work across various Procurement and IT groups to solve complex problems and generate ideas and designs to run and improve Intel's Supply Chain while helping to transform our Global Source to Pay Operations (GSPO) solution suite for what Intel will need to run its business and compete in the future as part of Intel's Digital Transformation journey.

A Supply Chain Data Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Hands-on working experience and Development Skills:
    • Business Intelligence BI and Self-Serve Dashboard solutions using Microsoft BI stack: Power BI, On-Premise and Cloud, PowerApps.
    • SSAS Data models, ETL techniques, DAX, SQL DB, SQL Scripting and Visual Studio.
    • Familiarity with Enterprise Data Warehouse and B2B Collaboration SW: SAP S4 Hana, Teradata, SAP IBP and other BI Visualization solutions like SAP BOBJ.
    • PowerPivot, Excel.
    • Working with stakeholders across procurement and strong partnership with IT to help define analytics strategy for GSPO.
    • Working with operations teams to define new ways of measuring efficiency, effectiveness, and quality to deliver new insights to the business.
    • Expertise in Data Analytics and Business Analysis. Design of Data Models.
    • Decomposition of As-Is Business Processes and As-Is data and systems flow and lead design discussions on the re-engineering of data structure and data flow, including underlying business processes.
    • Serve as Project Lead for Data Analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Computer / Information Systems Engineering, or related field of study.
  • Intermediate to advances English Level.
  • Unrestricted Costa Rica work permit.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, including:
    • Supply chain domain preferably in procurement area.
    • Microsoft BI stack: Power BI, On-Premise and Cloud, PowerApps.
    • Reporting tools (BOBJ/Power BI/MSBI/Excel, or similar).
    • Relevant SQL skills to be able to write queries and join data together from multiple tables and sources.
    • Experience creating calculated columns and measures using DAX.
    • Understanding of how data flows from one system to the other (source to target).
    • Skills to create data mockups by joining various data elements together.
    • Familiarity with advanced visualizations.
    • Familiarity with how information security works in enterprise systems.
    • Knowledge of working in SAFE/SCRUM/DevOps teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SSAS Data models, ETL techniques, DAX, SQL DB, SQL Scripting and Visual Studio.
  • Exposure to Analytics/Big-Data/Machine Learning/Data Science concepts.
  • Proficiency working with data in SAP HANA/Teradata SQL/MS SQL.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
