As a Regional HR Manager you will be responsible for leading the human resources function for the site in Nettersheim as well as all employees that are part of the Filtration EMEA sales organization. In this role you will support teams in a wide range of functional areas including but not limited to: HR strategy deployment, organizational development and change management, employee and/or labour relations, compensation and benefits, and recruitment as well as critical HR projects. plant operations by implementing and administering a full scope of human resources plans and activities that contribute to organizational excellence and promote positive employee relations. In this role you will be expected to: Act as business partner, strategic solution provider, advisor and counsellor for plant and functional leaders in EMEA Set direction, priorities, and culture expectations while utilizing performance metrics, continuous improvement principles, and change management plans for maximum employee ownership and engagement Participate in driving the Eaton Business System (EBS), including the HR Operating Review, Operational Assessment, Lean and other core organizational initiatives to ensure standardized, high quality processes throughout the operation Build and reinforce an open culture through focus on Inclusion & Diversity, transparency, ethics and employee engagement Support leaders in the establishment and maintenance of an effective talent management and succession planning process with focus on building leadership capabilities Lead recruitment and staffing processes to ensure the hiring of highly skilled and talented individuals, supporting plant operations and sales through headcount and succession planning Drive local efforts to ensure a strong future talent pipeline. Mentor leaders of people and employees, providing guidance, coaching and feedback Identify the learning, training, and development needs of the organization and support effective delivery and evaluation of training Drive HR digitalization and standardization across the EMEA organization, assess and deploy tools and metrics to diagnose organizational or performance issues and work with leaders to drive change and transformation Coordinate and drive labour relations strategy, negotiating with the group works council of Eaton Technologies GmbH in Germany (3 sites). Ensure that the our teams comply with all legal and regulatory requirements, relevant employment legislation, and company policies. Implement local HR policies and procedures in alignment with EBS. Comply with the policies, procedures, and expectations outlined by Eaton’s Management System for the Environment, Safety, Security, and Health (MESH) and Quality Management System Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Basic Qualifications: Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration from an accredited institution At least 5 years of HR generalist experience At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment Fluency in German and English (verbal and written business communication skills) Familiarity with German labor law and prior experience negotiating with governing bodies, e.g. Works Council(s), union Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in human resources, labor relations, or business administration from an accredited institution 2 years of experience as an HR decision maker Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and/or Oracle HRMS Prior experience managing people Prior experience supporting a commercial team Prior work experience in a US multinational company Position Criteria: Specialized knowledge of German law, the interpretation of laws, and the applicable regulations, standards, and enforcement agencies Strong labor relations skills, including labor law knowledge, contract negotiations & daily contract administration Ability to understand, interpret and easily communicate and align policies and practices to the Eaton Leadership Model and Code of Ethics Ability to demonstrate discretion, able to work with sensitive and confidential materials and possess good business judgment Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal across a wide audience Proven ability to deal with conflict and diffuse difficult situations Strong hands-on mentality and organizational skills to include time management, manpower planning and wage/salary/benefits planning Independent and self-motivated with initiative and willingness to learn #LI-AR2 What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
