As an HR Data Analyst for TPA, your responsibilities may include:
Use data modeling, analyses, prototyping, statistics, data mining, scenario analysis to collect, explore, and extract insights and present them using Power BI.
Use scaled data models to proliferate HR data, increase automation and drive decision useful information.
Build proofs of concepts, define, and convey the data requirements to engineers or solution architects in IT.
Act as a Data Translator to Communicate and understand the value of analytic work, articulate and advocate for work based on estimated/calculated business impact with Senior and Executive Leadership.
Influence HR, IT and other partner orgs on needs for data infrastructure, tools, etc.
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
Ability to work in a data environment with a high-level of ambiguity.
Ability to experiment, learn, persist through setbacks and solve difficult problems with a methodical approach.
Ability to expand beyond descriptive analytics to drive more data derived insights through use of tools/platforms such as Power BI, SQL Server Analysis Services, Power Query, etc.
Work to increase data proficiency and technical skillsets in TPA through development and deployment of trainings.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative scientific or engineering field such as statistics, mathematics, business analytics, computer science, or closely related field of study.
7+ years of related experience.
5+ years of experience in:
Analytics and data visualization along with experience creating dashboards for reporting (IE: Power BI) is an advantage
Completing complex analysis and determining actions to respond to that data
2+ years of experience with all of the following: Power BI, SQL Server Analysis Services, Power Query and SQL.
Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica
Advanced English level: verbal, writing and reading.
Preferred Qualifications:
HR experience
Demonstrable experience using SQL, Python

Work Model for this Role
