Desktop Publisher Position

We are on the search for a DTP Specialist to join our growing technical support team and work in editing templates using mostly InDesign and Illustrator based on specific client requirements.

The contract is a full-time one (8 hours/day, 5 days a week) and the position is fully remote.

• • Description of operations to be performed

- Professional publishing/document formatting.

- Editing templates in InDesign and Illustrator based on specific client requirements.

- Graphics editing in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop among others.

- Verification of translated documentation visually (comparing formatting, layout with source document)

- Incorporating layout and language corrections into multiple files including Asian languages.

- Finalize files and ensure formatting is compliant with client instructions and quality demands.

- Working on high-level projects collaboratively as a team, hitting deadlines day-in, day-out.

• • Requirements

- Adobe suite proficient knowledge –InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.

- Good command of English (min. B2) allowing fluent spoken and written communication.

- Good command of Spanish allowing fluent spoken and written communication

- Ability to work in a team

- Organizational skills

- Operational excellence – deliver high quality of content ensuring project schedule are met. Understanding and applying procedure/methods as per client requirements.

- Computer literacy, MS Office and Google tools knowledge - Sheets/GDrive - . very good computer skills required. Should understand how to navigate network drives, install fonts, etc.

- Commitment to learning and development by proactively seeking and acting upon opportunities to grow new capabilities, experience, skills and knowledge

- Detail oriented with excellent organization skills, can multi-task and prioritize effectively.

- Dealing with color profiles to ensure precise and consistent color management.

- Experience with Mac OS environment will be valued.
