Job Description

Job Title

Assists and supports the Executive Housekeeper in his/her tasks. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper supervises and coordinates activities of room attendant, house attendant, public area cleaners and floor supervisors. He / She assists in the managing and directing of the day–to–day operations of all Housekeeping and laundry functions.

Participates in and enforces quality assurance for Housekeeping Department and department cost control measures.

  • Helps EHK in the implementation of major changes in all hotel areas, to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Maintains excellent relations and professionalism among all subordinate staff.
  • Coordinates repair and maintenance schedules of rooms.
  • Ensures cleanliness and hygiene standards in all hotel areas.
  • Ensures adherence to company and hotel policies on all departmental employees.
  • Checks and controls the availability and proper usage of supplies & material.

Your experience and skills include:

  • Bachelor’s degree/certificate in a related major and a solid experience in hospitality with minimum of 3 years in a HK supervisory level
  • Excellent command of English communication
  • Great personality and positive attitude in addition to the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues at all levels. Good time management skills
  • Very good communication and training skills
