Job Description

Job purpose

This role is a key part of the management team delivering marketing solutions to our clients. The purpose of the role is to provide creative leadership across all our content solutions services, both where RWS are transcreating client work as well as internal RWS output.

Key Responsibilities
• Work with the management team and internal clients to establish process for managing the creative elements of the Marketing Solutions business
• Partner with Creative Director – Design in delivering integrated service across copy & image  creative content
• Set and meet standards for every client on integrated creative output
o From brand immersion, training and on-boarding to brand guardianship
• Directing and overseeing in transcreation of live projects;
o manage the creative elements of live project brief and debrief
o understand client business and communications objectives and strategy
o create brand and style guidelines, transcreation briefs, support PMO / creative resources during adaptation process
o provide remote or on-site direction in VO recordings or on shoots
o ensure consistency in output across languages and channels
o constantly monitor, measure and recommend improvement from client/agency/internal feedback
• Managing and continuously motivating, training and informing local copywriter network
o Organising on-boarding and training (SDL transcreation services, processes, workflows) 
o Managing expectations (timing, level of output, feedback reviews, etc.)
o Participating (on-site or remotely) in client/agency + copywriter meetings and calls
• Actively input and support during (new) client discovery, scoping, implementation process
• Work across agency and creative partners for clients and internal stakeholders
• Refine and further productise existing service offering, and instigate creation of new offering by actively monitoring client needs, market trends and/or identified gaps, such as (but not limited to)
o Plan, productise and implement Cultural Consultation services, Insight Reports, in-market field research, Vox Pops, etc.
• Support Talent Manager with planning and evaluation of new resources, on-boarding and quality management 
• Supporting pricing, KPI, SLA and metrics development
• Champion new technology application and creative requirements to ensure future-proofing  MS product
• Work with Project Management Office and Language Analyst functions to establish handshakes and prioritisation / work scheduling through central resourcing and Project Management teams
• Span technology solution stack with creative application
• Support creative content cross-media shoot production from a global/cultural POV
o Provide judgement across assets and channels / agency to flag potential language / culture / production issues or conflicts

Essential Technical Skills
• 2-5years in language services primarily within branding, marketing and advertising or similar verticals
• Experience gained from language service provider, internal localisation department, creative agency, internal agency or production agency perspective
• Demonstrable experience of running international omni-channel campaigns
• Able to understand and articulate market evolution, trends and position major players
• Working knowledge of running international integrated omni-channel campaigns and the ability to articulate potential pitfalls and best practice
• Ability to estimate tasks, efforts and deliver to agreed timescales
• Ability to converse with client and agency creative and strategy leads
