The role of the Operations Specialist is to be responsible for leading, prioritizing, developing, and delivering global initiatives that keep the business running, and which are critical to enabling the team to deliver world-class communications at Intel. This operations specialist will prioritize and develop global operations, including proactive budget management, planning, organizing, communicating, and managing the resources needed to run Global Comms in a way that is efficient and creates more productivity for Global Comms employees.

This role reports to and must be an advocate and partner to our CoS and Head of Strategic Initiatives, and will help this leader to plan, organize, communicate and manage the resources needed to run Global Comms in a way that unleashes team productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As our lead Operations Specialist, this individual sets operational priorities for the team, gets results across teams and boundaries, ensures an inclusive work environment, and leverages influence skills to connect dots and get things done for the good of the greater team.

  • Provides counsel to senior management in assisting and/or driving the business decision-making process.

  • Ensures compliance with financial, legal, and corporate policies. Responsibilities include process analysis/design and implementation, rewards, plan, and budgeting as part of the plan of record (POR), coordinating group activities and cross-functional teams/meetings, legal, HR, and finance interface.

  • May be called upon to develop group presentations for a high-level, worldwide agency or other third-party vendor management and tracking/analyzing group indicators.

  • Drives and develops the Global Budget working with the leadership team and Finance. This includes the yearly POR as well as managing it on an ongoing basis.

  • Must be able to recognize and recommend respond response to changes in priorities and environment.

  • Responsible for the group Quarterly Awards Program.

  • Global Spokesperson program management.

  • Team Tools and Resources (SharePoint, Teams, etc.).

  • Management of Agency of Record and other key Global Comms suppliers.

  • Integration and liaison with Finance and HR.

  • Leadership workforce Development: training, job descriptions, learning labs.

  • Coordinate staff/LT meetings (weekly, monthly, quarterly).

  • Global Comms representation with other Intel groups, projects, initiatives as needed.

  • Integration and liaison point to the Global Insights and Analytics team.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of experience in administrative support for communications leaders, communications work, and or operations.

  • Knowledge of how global communications works and fits within a large matrixed organization.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA in Communications, Business or similar field.

  • Team leadership and business management experience.

  • Experience with Comms and Operations at top Technology brands.

  • Willing to multi-task priorities.

  • Leadership aptitude, personal leadership, and leading others.

  • Solid collaboration skills and effective decision making.

  • Effective in developing perspective and influencing others.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
