Job Description

The HR PM team leads enterprise-wide projects that determine and roll out benefits, tools, and various software needed to run 100s of programs in support of our global employees and their families. Examples include payroll systems, Workday, and Concur. PMs manage teams ranging from a dozen people to 100 people. Some projects impact one country, some impact every country where an Intel employee resides. Besides typical PM responsibilities, our PMs lead test and/or change management teams and our stakeholders include every BU and group in Intel, including Intel Executive Leadership Team. You will be challenged and grow skills in this role.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manages projects and programs of broad scope and high that are focused on development, implementation, or upgrade of internal customers' technology, products, or processes. This may provide secondary or indirect support of customer products.

  • Plans/manages projects or programs directly related to corporate initiatives or general business operations to meet specific objectives.

  • Has decision making authority at the project level.

  • Leads the project team and is key interface to the project or contributors. Identifies and refines project objectives.

  • Works on or delegates, as appropriate, problems/tasks in delivery of specific objectives or general goals.

  • Develops solutions to problems by exercising judgment and discretion. Interprets and applies controlling business strategies or corporate policies and deviates as judged appropriate.

  • Identifies tasks and research, determines dependencies, assesses costs, and identifies and assigns specific resources, and communicates expectations to team members.

  • Assesses risks and identifies issues and solutions to timely and efficiently achieve program goals or project objectives while maintaining quality standards.

  • Monitors progress against schedule and determines and takes remedial action as appropriate.

  • Coordinates and prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions. Plans and schedules work ensure the completion of intermediate milestones and overall project or program in timely manner.

  • Influence or set business unit or cross organizational strategy.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 9+ years of Project Manager experience.

  • 3+ years of experience using Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies.

  • 3+ years of experience working with global stakeholders at the director, GM, VP level.

  • PMP Certification.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prosci or similar Change Management training/experience.

  • Jira.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
