Job Description

Responsibilities

  • To lead the project team and manage overall delivery of the full project lifecycle from design to handover in all phases of work
  • To be responsible of overall restacking works, including development of the full restacking strategy, coordination, management, and physical move coordination.
  • To be responsible for overall project management in ensuring the quality, cost, statutory, safety and environment issues and project scheduling requirements are met
  • To be able to lead and guide junior colleagues on the overall delivery of the project.
  • To be responsible for overall co-ordination and management of construction projects including progress, logistics, quality, cost, and client relations
  • To manage, develop and implement the master programme and monitoring of construction programme of contractor.
  • To ensure all short-term programme are properly reviewed and communicated to all parties concerned
  • To ensure proper safety conduct and standards of all site operations
  • To provide effective and efficient site administration, meetings, and reporting
  • To plan and organize various statutory inspections
  • To act as client representative, managing the daily running of the project
  • To facilitate progress meetings and produce project reports
  • To facilitate site meetings and inspections to report on quality and progress
  • To manage other consultants and the professional team
  • To assist with the procurement and appointment of other consultants as needed
  • Any other work-related tasks or duties deemed required and assigned by the management / line manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Degree qualifications in construction, project management, engineering or similar function
  • Minimum 10 years' in a project management capacity, ideally as a consultant or client
  • Experience in office fit-out/greenfield fit-out projects
  • Experience and knowledge of all the main project management concepts, tools and techniques
  • Experience in managing contractors in pre and post contract stages and managing tender process
  • Experience in leading project teams for multi-phase projects including move and restacking works
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment, to meet often tight deadlines, and to work pro-actively as part of a committed team
