What you will be doing:
- Ensure that proper purchasing procedures are in place, and obtain competitive quotes as per policy.
- Check and validate market list costing, and identify opportunities for long and short-term agreements and contracts.
- Implement strategic sourcing across multiple commodities and technologies to meet corporate objectives for product quality, cost, reliability, asset management and product introduction cycle time.
Work Experience
- Graduate of a Degree in Business Administration, Accountancy or any related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in Purchasing in a luxury hotel or on the same capacity.
- Knowledgeable in cost control procedures with excellent negotiation skills.
- Background in Sun System, Materials Control and Microsoft Office Applications.
