Job Description
Overseas Service Engineer:
JAKA robotics is currently looking for a full-time service engineer to join our growing overseas customer service team. JAKA robotics is a leader in cobot development and our mission is to “Free Yours Hands by JAKA”. We are looking for someone to provide technical and service support for JAKAs robotics solution for JAKAs customers and partners. They will facilitate the robot integration and Eco system through remote or on-site assistance for our customers. They will be responsible for guiding the customers on JAKA products during the sale process and providing technical support after sales.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a high level of technical skills, be an excellent communicator, and have a strong attention to detail. A hands on mentality and an eagerness to solve customer needs will be essential for success. The overseas service engineer will diagnose and solve problems, improve efficiency, mitigate risk, encourage business growth, and assist in enhancing and sustaining client and partner relationships.
Overseas Service Engineer Responsibilities:
• Provide technical guidance and essential training on JAKA solutions to partners / integrators / customers
• Remote or on-site service and support for JAKA products or projects
• JAKA products troubleshooting /maintenance on a scheduled / breakdown basis and reports submission
• Documentation on technical /training materials and JAKA products fault reports
• Survey and improve customers’ experience on JAKA products
• Travelling both throughout China and abroad when required
Background
• Engineering degree in electromechanical, system integration or automation (or equivalent by experience)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in automation and integration projects, preferably in an implementation environment
• Customer oriented and willing to travel abroad for the role
• Solid understanding of customized automation devices (PLC, robotic, vision system & etc.)
• Skills on computer programming (C++, C#, Python) and software development would be beneficial
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment, perform complex system tests and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to speak multiple languages is preferred
