Job Description
Eaton Haina is seeking a Quality Process Manufacturing Manager for its Commercial & Residential Distribution Solutions (CRDS) business. This position will be located in Haina, Dominican Republic. Position Overview: Assure customer satisfaction through our Quality System; accountable for quality performance by monitoring Quality related metrics, conducting Quality Assessments. Making improvements in the quality procedures, and develop innovations to improve productivity and reduce product costs. Attain quality goals, assure quality plans are implemented and drive results accomplishment. Deploy the applicable EQMS elements and initiatives of EBS to accomplish the established goals. Essential Functions: Direct quality personnel and prioritize quality functions of the plant. Lead a quality planning activity through the product development / launch cycle. Establish inspection and testing plans for product development. Lead internal/external ISO/EQMS audits. Adjunct trainer in problem solving and internal audit. Understand and adhere to a quality system in conjunction with divisional procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements, customer specific requirements, and all regulatory requirements. Perform root cause analysis - support problem solving and continuous improvement efforts by bringing attention to quality problems, participating on improvement teams, and working with front end, design, quality and production personnel to resolve problems. Develop quality control documentation for production, (Quality Control Plan, Inspection Records, etc.), and ensure the implementation of the quality documents. Lead the plant in the development of key process Control Plans. Lead manufacturing by performing Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) in order to identify and eliminate measurement errors and ensure the correct gages are being employed throughout the plant. Apply appropriate Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS) processes and problem-solving tools to drive continuous quality improvement and ensure alignment/compliance with industry standards. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree on industrial, electrical or electromechanical engineering, or other related science. Preferable Post grade degree in Quality, Productivity, engineering or others related science." 5 years in similar positions. Technical knowledge: Full Bilingual (English / Spanish) PC knowledge: Microsoft Office, Minitab, Power Bi and AS400. Knowledge: Lean Tools, 6 Sigma and SPC.
