We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our EMEA 3-phase Engineering organization. This role will be responsible for making, innovating, testing and documenting mechanical designs for UPS systems and accessories. Your key deliverables: The primary function of this position is to act as a Mechanical Designer in R&D projects where you are responsible for: Testing and deciding on material design and surface treatment selection. You will utilize sheet metal, die cast and injection mold design on UPS and energy storage products as a part of a global product development team Making product cost optimization and utilize DFSS tool Design for maintainability, manufacturing and safety Giving technical on UPS systems to product management and sales Using cable and harness design Specifying prototypes and building them hands-on Documenting related to mechanical, harness and assembly (BOM) design Analyzing and solving product issues in several projects, while ensuring that objectives are met and are within budget.
