As a key business within Intel's custom logic continuum strategy, we are seeking a leader for North America Business Development for our structured ASIC business reporting directly to the Head of eASIC Business Development and Product Line Management in the Programmable Solutions Group. Our custom logic strategy is differentiated by the full product lifecycle of FPGA, Structured ASIC, and ASIC platforms. Intel® eASIC™ structured ASICs are an intermediary technology between FPGAs and standard-cell ASICs, provide lower unit-cost and lower power compared to FPGAs and faster time to market and lower non-recurring engineering cost compared to standard-cell ASICs.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Managing both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities.
Represent the eASIC value proposition with the sales organization, business units and end customers.
Take a lead role in the development and completion of statement of work for custom structured ASIC device.
Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
Manage technical proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, statement of work requirements with inputs from various sources
Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
This role requires knowledge of FPGAs and structured ASIC technical differences as well as knowledge of overall FPGA and ASIC design flows.

Qualifications
Minimum Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 6 years of industry work experience, or
Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience, or
PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 2 years of related work experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in business across a broad set of vertical markets.
10+ years’ experience with ASIC, FPGA or relevant custom logic product experience.
Experience understanding and documenting customer technical and business requirements to drive internal engineering and applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct sales experience dealing with global tier one customers
Direct ASIC or structured ASIC hands-on design experience.
Custom logic (FPGA, ASIC) technical marketing experience.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
