Intel is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our Product Software Division (XPSD) as a System Engineer!

The x-PSD organization at Intel Corporation is a worldwide organization responsible for developing the company's data-centric businesses, including servers, network and storage, artificial intelligence (AI), internet of things, and Intel field-programmable gate arrays.

Objectives and goals for this role include:

  • Drive adoption of WSF into IVE and PVE teams for systematic shift-left on issue identification with full-stack market-important WLs
  • Drive traceability from customer use cases and workloads to workload KPIs, platform features/requirements and associated LZs, pre and post Si validation coverage to software enabling plans  
  • Drive cultural transformation across Intel Pre-Si, Post-Si and Platform Validation teams to support Customer Workload Benchmark Enabling
  • Define common goals across teams to migrate existing methods to center on Service Repository Customer Workloads
  • Document E2E Process that link key contributions made by each Validation team into a cohesive whole as we work to achieve WL Benchmarks
  • Define Common Validation Data Model that supports coverage and execution reporting goals of iVE and DPG Pre and Post-Si Validation
  • Work with DPG Partner teams to establish E2E Traceability from Customer Usages and Workload KPI’s, to Product LZ’s and SW Enabling plans to validation tests and reporting
  • Work with Gladius team to define and implement criteria to support Service Framework development and consumption across PLC

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with 6+ years of related experience.

  • Experience with System engineering and launching Intel® Xeon® or similar products.

  • Experience with software validation experience such as IVE and/or PVE – identifying significant issues with full-stack market-important WLs.

  • Experience driving traceability from customer use cases and workloads to KPIs, platform features/requirements and associated LZs.

  • Experience with pre- and post-Si validation coverage to software enabling plans. 

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in the following:

    • Driving complex integrations and coordinating across teams and workstreams.

    • Working with Telecoms, Networking or Cloud technologies.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
