The Link Management (LM) team is responsible of link support on launched product in aspect of adding new features and supporting new modules and cables.  The LM team will define, implement, integration and validate. The LM team is looking for an excellent and highly motivated experienced engineer.

As an Influencer and engineer, you will be:

Responsible for ensuring EPG silicon products receive an appropriate level of focus and execution contributing to the eventual Ethernet I/O solutions that meet our customers' expectations.
You'll be a team player and a technical contributor in the Revenue System team and will be responsible for definition, and implementation of solutions for Ethernet systems.

You will define and develop state of the art features towards major milestones, participate in different forums, work in the lab to develop and integrate, cooperate, and work with different groups at intel, use state of the art development methodologies and equipment’s all that to improve our business offering and quality.

Job Qualifications:

-Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Science degree (or higher) in Electrical/Computer Engineering, with 6 or more years of relevant experience in software or electronics design or validation.
-Deep understanding of Ethernet and networks operations.

-Excellent customer communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work in a multi-geographical development environment, coordinating with other architects, engineers, marketers, and planners.

- Excellent English verbal and written communication skill.
-Ability to use advanced test and measurement lab equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers) to debug circuit boards.

- Technical knowledge of the Communication and Telecommunication market requirements and solutions.

 

Qualifications

About you:
A Computer Science/ Electrical Engineer, with at least 6 years of experience.

You willing to take ownership of assignments and follow tasks through to completion.

You’re passionate about state-of-the-art technology, well organized, analytical and an excellent problem-solver, with an excellent debugging skills.

You can work with various teams that perform development, validation, configuration and customer support.

You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, plus you’re fluent in English.

You are familiar with Development methodologies and have hands-on experience in Lab.

You are highly motivated with a proven capability to work as part of a team or on your own.

You have experience in Ethernet world, Data Path knowledge (OSI model Layers1/2/3/4).

You have experience with Packet Generators (IXIA/SPIRENT/XENA).

You have experience with creating complicated system design documents.

Advantages:

– Familiarity with latest Link standards regarding Ethernet/Link types/Form factors.

– coding experience in one of the following languages C, Python, ASM.

– leadership Skills.

– Ethernet Security/Manageability/Link Management/Cloud applications.

– knowledge in 1588V2/SyncE protocol.

– Familiarity with HP/Dell/Lenovo/SMC servers.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

- Technical knowledge of the Communication and Telecommunication market requirements and solutions

- Embedded/FW development.

- Experience with Ethernet switching, Cloud applications.

- Standards and/or Industry Consortiums experience.

- Technical Knowledge of Network, Network virtualization, and tunneling protocols.

- Knowledge and experience in assembly.

- HW analog/digital background.
- Familiarity with Ethernet PHY.

- Knowledge in python scripting
