Job Description

This is a commissioned sales position. The Technical Sales Manager (TSM) is responsible for influencing and advocating Intel based products and solutions for all of Intel's Business units through a vertically oriented, solutions led approach to Business and IT.

The TSM is responsible for ensuring that Product Sales of our covered accounts and channel partners are understood and that we are working with the customer, our business units teams and our partners to develop technically advanced solutions that help solve our customer business problem and that create significant pull for Intel's Optane and other Data Centre solutions.

Responsibilities may include:

  • This position is responsible to ensure sales target for the APJT are met. The primary focus is DC Optane and will include significant focus of other DC products and solutions
  • The TSM is responsible for working with the Account Executive of our covered accounts are understood and that we are working with the customer, our business unit teams, and our partners - including CSPs, ISVs, OEMs and SIs which will results in solutions that help solve customer business problems and create significant pull for Intel's products and solutions
  • In order to successfully influence sales and architectural decisions, the TSM needs to build relationships with key account stakeholders and ecosystem partners and become a trusted technology advisor to them
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and coordinating support from ecosystem partners and Intel Business Units to win strategic sales opportunities, managing multiple sales engagement which can start from pre-sales inception through proof-of-concept and final deployment.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent, is required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to execute sales influencing programs, connect complex technical solutions and concepts with measurable business outcomes
- The candidate needs to have an entrepreneurial mindset with a good sense of humor and a strong commitment to personal learning and development.

- 5+ years of experience in:

  • Working with private and public cloud architectures and solutions in an enterprise IT environment, including storage and memory solutions, telco and cloud deployments, analytics/AI and/or edge computing;
  • Applying a consultative selling approach to understand customer challenges with the ability to envision and deliver next-generation technology solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes;
  • Delighting customers and delivering exceptional results in a fast-moving environment under very tight deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:
- A Data Centre solutions architect, or equivalent, certification from AWS, Azure and/or GCP will be an advantage
- Knowledge about Big Data architecture - Hadoop/Spark/Kafka

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
