Job Description
Eaton’s Bussmann division is currently seeking an Customer Service to join our team. This position is based at our Juarez facility. The Customer Service is responsible for expediting in a timely manner along with follow up on the whole manufacturing process, from arrival of raw material to production process all the way to making sure it ships on the promised date. Helping to obtain an appropriate turnaround time for expedites an all-around on time delivery for products. This in turn elevates credibility with our customers.. In this role, you will: Analyzes arriving expedites to determine if product can run and be scheduled or if raw material needs to be expedited. Negotiates and prioritizes with production planner according to the urgency in each matter. Informs purchasing department of any short components affecting the expedite run, follows up with delivery dates and request the way material should ship from supplier depending on the urgency. Maintains and updates visual board to keep proactive actions on raw material ETA’s and with ship dates. Gathers information from service departments (QC, Eng., Prod., etc…) and creates action plans and ship schedules according to the situation in hand. Coordinates with CDC and shipping department so that the material being expedited has the correct shipping method according to the urgency and the orders moved to plant 1208 if need be. Maintains, reports involving expedite trace, OTD, and expedite turn around for strategic accounts. Trains peers on better practices and lessons learned as the situation presents itself. #LI-DS1 Qualifications Required Qualifications: High school completed Dependable and flexible to work overtime Proficient use of computer/telephone Ability to problem solve Fully bilingual English/Spanish Preferred Qualifications: SAP knowledge Manufacturing process knowledge Custormer service background Position Success Criteria: Analytical Decision making ability Ability to work as a team member as well as independently with minimal supervision.
