Intel’s Toronto Technology Center is a world-class research and development site. We create state-of-the-art CAD software tools and industry-leading programmable logic device architectures. Our compilers and libraries are unlocking the power of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), for the next generation of software developers and accelerating an array of transformative markets, from Fin Tech to 5G to AI. In this role, you will have the opportunity for cross-functional interactions with R&D Engineers, Support Engineers, Program Managers, and Marketing to create self-help content for software developers and FPGA designers.
Responsibilities for this role will be but not limited to:
Designs, writes, revises and/or edits of technical and/or promotional papers (i.e., application papers, product descriptions, catalogs, manuals/guides, commercial applications, brochures, product articles, etc.)
Analyzes and interprets data to determine appropriate syntax, style, and grammatical usage. Information may be produced on hard copy or electronic medium
Performs tasks related to the construction of technical and non technical illustrations and graphics
Attends planning/coordination meetings to assess customer requirements
Oversees preparation of illustrative material, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts, supporting slide/video production, serving as editor on specific publications including article selection, artwork coordination, productions and distribution
May assist in preparation and layout of work for publication. Individuals act as internal experts, consultants, and program/project managers and represent the corporation to external groups, agencies, and vendors

Qualifications
Candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must have Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
3+ years experience in:
Technical writing
Experience with professional authoring tools, such as XMetaL Author, Oxygen XML Author, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in:
Software compilers

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
