The Intel Product Assurance and Security (IPAS) organization is responsible for driving the company's security first mindset and communicating that Security Starts with Intel. The purpose of IPAS is to build and protect trust in Intel technologies, closely aligned to the security architecture and engineering organization.

Job Description:
The IPAS Communications team is seeking an Event Manager for the planning and execution of security conferences and industry events. As part of a diverse, collaborative, and open work environment, you will own event management for the security center of excellence, working with stakeholders across the company.

In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of event management including budget creation, contract negotiation, coordination of content and speaker submissions, on-site execution and more. The event manager role is fast-paced, challenging and collaborative with lots of opportunity to bring your vision to life and flex your creative muscles. You'll work with a talented team of security researchers, architects, marketers, and product owners to showcase Intel's industry-leading security practices and portfolio.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic, process-oriented, and customer-focused individual with strong time management skills and willingness to track and meet concurrent deadlines. You have a proven track record for relationship management, execution, and measuring results. Further, a successful candidate proposes new and creative ideas, possesses highly effective communication skills, and builds collaborative relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead virtual and in-person conferences from strategy through execution and refine processes to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Intel employees on a single or multiple concurrent events, ranging in size and complexity.

  • Maintain planning documents and build a library of resources - from content to creative-for future events.

  • Create pre- and post-event summaries and recaps including budget and lead/ROI analysis, KPIs, and qualitative feedback to evaluate event success.

  • Oversee survey and reporting to improve the customer experience, increase the value of data collected, and streamline future metrics.

  • Monitor session content and key topics of interest.

  • Document and communicate progress, flag issues, and report results to internal stakeholders.

  • Propose innovations and creative ideas for making events more engaging and impactful for participants.

  • Identify and define product improvements and enhancements as they pertain to client needs and overall deployment.

  • Willing to travel: Upcoming conferences will be a mix of in virtual and in person, which will require some travel throughout the year, with more required as on-site events reopen.

  • Willing to build solid relationships with Intel peers, industry influencers, and academic researchers.

  • Solid understanding of the event management experience.

  • Adept at translating technical topics into easy-to-understand and relevant language.

  • Comfortable with working both independently and as part of a team.

  • Customer and team oriented, results-driven.

  • Thrives on hard work and consistent challenge.


Qualifications

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of event planning, project management or customer success experience.

  • Willing to travel up to 40%: Upcoming conferences will be a mix of in virtual and in person, which will require some travel throughout the year, with more required as on-site events reopen

  • Well-versed in traditional event execution as well as virtual platforms and tools (e.g., Cvent, Notified, Zoom, Gather, Hopin).

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$107,450.00-$161,050.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
