You will be responsible for organizing all production activities in plant, by coordinating the Production Facilitators and the production lines to obtain maximum efficiency in order to meet customer needs both on product quality and on delivery times, strongly promoting safety and ethics culture . You will be part of Plant Management staff , participating to organizational decisions and performance reviews with the Senior Leadership in order to guarantee the production continuity in allignment to the assigned targets. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and manage all production activities, ensuring the alignment with profit plan • Check the progress of the use of the MRO in order to ensure the correct supplying of production equipment in line with the assigned spending budget. • Oversee, supervise and take actions to implement, promote and maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standard. • Responsible for coordinating departments and services of the plant (quality, maintenance, technical services, logistics, HR, EHS, CI), to solve production problems, improve processes and respond to the needs of internal and external customers, including active support in the industrialization of lines / launching new products. • Promote the culture of quality, focusing on customer needs, regularly communicating feedback to his collaborators and actively guiding problem solving activities related to quality problems in collaboration with the Quality department; promote the solution of quality problems directly or through escalation. • Promote plans and assigns tasks to reduce work in progress (WIP) inventory levels, maximizes product flow by identifying, promoting and monitoring projects to reduce costs. • Responsible for the implementation of specific customer requirements within his area of expertise, taking part in the preparation and presentation of his area during customer visits and internal and external company audits • Responsible for improving skills and abilities of his/her team in order to guarantee the necessary multi-functionality Qualifications MS degree in operations management, engineering, or supply chain; MBA preferred. Minimum 7 years of manufacturing experience in a supervisory or managerial position Experience in large multi-national manufacturing organizations with complex matrix structures. • Technical knowledge of valve manufacturing process, including maintenance & quality systems • Solid knowledge of EBS, SPC, TPM, teams, and all ELSS elements • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, manpower planning, training techniques, human relations skills, supervisory techniques • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, cold forming, heat treat, etc.) • Knowledge of customer requirements, procedures, standards & product application - Knowledge of interpretation & understanding of QS, ISO, TS standards, AIAG manuals & overall plant systems • English fluent - Knowledge of Lean ( 5S, Standard work, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Setup Reduction (SUR), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean Material Flow (LMF) and 6 Sigma #LI-LP2 What we offer to you: Permanent contract in a fast-growing global company We make ethics and culture matter – You will enjoy working in supportive and collaborative workplace where ethics and safety are in our DNA We make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term – not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton University Candidate selected for the vacancy will be subject of a background screening What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
