This position is a senior technical sales influencer role, responsible for influencing, enabling and driving adoption and preference for Intel based solutions for (private/public/hybrid) cloud infrastructure and cloud/data services.
- Responsible for having an expert understanding of the industry, business use cases, multicloud options and use cases, technical merits of cloud using Intel products and technologies, and TCO value propositions.
- Proactively helps drive Intel and customer revenue growth by accelerating the adoption of value-added cloud solution architectures that showcase Intel's advanced products and technologies.
- The role cultivates senior level relationships with global Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), Digital Services/SaaS providers, Enterprise, Cloud and Public Sector customers, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and SI/MSP partners to maximize Intel mind share and Intel product preference.
- Works with the customers, partners/ISVs/SIs and BU development teams to create new solutions, software and services/workload optimizations through technical engagement and development, utilization of Intel product capabilities across the solution stack (compute, network, storage), tools, libraries and documentation.
- Builds customer success stories, documents solutions / best methods, and is the subject matter expert for training for scaling with peers across the organization and the industry.
- Has appropriate and adequate industry certifications.
- Has seasoned professionalism and pose for creating positive results.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience as business consultant, enterprise technology specialist, solutions/systems architect at cloud provider or telco operator or systems integrator or App developer in the communications infrastructure field
- Ideally the successful candidate has a University degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
Mandatory: experience in:
- Hands-on work
- Working knowledge or education in networking stacks, switching and routing protocols.
- Setting up and configuring servers and networking gear
- 1+ years of documented experience in Cloud deployment, that can include one or more of the below:
- Implemented hyperscale Cloud services platforms for IaaS, CaaS or PaaS.
- Experience of how a hyper scaler commercially and technically engages and influences a communication service provider.
- Refactoring (IT to Cloud for applications) and/or onboarding scalable cloud native applications, operations and lifecycle management.
- Designing/prototyping/benchmarking multi cloud services on Amazon, Google and/or Microsoft, using VM services or Kubernetes engines, migrations from and to Red Hat or VMware.
- Understanding technical merits and commercial value to address, win and deploy solutions that drive alignment with the CoSP (Communication service providers) and hyper scaler service offerings.
- Strong software background, SI experience and consulting background
- Strong experience in data center and cloud services architecture as well as experience working at or with leading Cloud Service Providers, Internet Portal/Search Companies, Multinational Cloud Equipment Manufacturers, XaaS Companies or System Integrators and ISVs along this line
- Well versed in adjacent trends and technologies such as IOT, Cloud, Analytics and Network Virtualization (Telco Cloud).
- Comprehensive understanding of NFV/SDN, Cloud infrastructure and the overall network transformation underway within Comms industry required to understand 5G end-to-end.
- Strong communication skills to build a rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external customer base
- Smooth verbal and written communication skills in English plus at least one local language as applicable.
- Candidate needs to have high social collaboration skills, highly self-motivated and disciplined, great team player open mind and able to work in a multi culture environment
- Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and to achieve high quality results
- Ability to travel on a frequent basis

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
