Eaton’s Electrical Division is currently seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. Position Overview: This role will provide support to the SVP, Operations Finance and Finance Transformation which can include but is not restricted to: calendar management, coordinating travel arrangements, organizing and coordinating meetings, submitting Travel & Expense reports, presentation preparation, issuance of monthly status reports, and administration associated with key programs. Role will also support the VP, Global Finance Planning & Analysis and the VP, Finance Technology. Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. In this function you will: Support the preparation of presentations for major and cross-functional meetings, networking and gathering the data to complete the task. Plan and execute small and large events. Coordinate and issue monthly reports, including data collection and formatting, preliminary analysis, and recommendations when appropriate. Manage the SVP and staff calendars, proactively managing overlaps, required meetings, and conflicts. Answer phone, screen calls, take messages, and refer callers. Perform document management and signature management, including use of electronic tools such as Adobe and DocuSign. Assists with new employee and contractor onboarding. Manages the consolidation of internal team metrics. Manage sensitive matters with a high degree confidentiality and discretion Draft and prepare correspondence for internal announcements Manage the Executive's contacts information Organize complex calendars and schedules, resolving any scheduling issues. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited university Five (5) years experience as an administrative or personal assistant, with at least three (3) years experience working with executive level leaders in a large matrix organization Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university Experience providing support in a global organization Experience supporting C-level executives Position Criteria: Flexible and pro-active; Ability and willingness to perform a variety of important sometimes urgent, confidential, and complex tasks with constantly shifting priorities while maintaining a high degree of discretion and professionalism. Exhibits high degree of reliability and trustworthiness with an ethical approach. Effectively work and partner with people at all levels of the organization, as well as external contacts, customers, suppliers, etc. Ability to problem solve and come up with creative approaches to how work gets done. Operates with a digital mindset, leverages data, digital tools and processes while operating with agility. Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, and excellent interpersonal skills.
