In this position, the Student will work in Intel's Validation Engineering organization and will contribute to Post-Silicon validation projects in the area of Power, Thermal and Performance for Intel's next-generation high-performance CPU and interconnected interfaces.
The Student will team up with designers, architects and cross-functional teams to set up Post-Silicon validation environments, execute validation plans, and measure and analyze the Power Rails of computing platforms for Intel's CPUs under specific usage scenarios.

Qualifications
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry-relevant job experience, internship experiences, and or school work/classes/research.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate should be pursuing a BSc, MSc or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, and have the following qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Intermediate+ English written and verbal communication skills.
- 6+ months of experience in Computer Architecture and Operating Systems.
- 6+ months of experience with Object-oriented programming skills (e.g. Python, C/C++).
- 1+ year of experience with Analog Electronics.
- 1+ year of experience using electronic lab test equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Power Electronics and Voltage Regulators operating principle (e.g. Buck converter).

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
