Eaton’s Corporation Electrical Sector is currently seeking a District Sales Manager to join our team for our Gulf region. This Dallas/Fort Worth, Arkansas, and Oklahoma regions. This role is based in the Dallas/Fort Worth region. Position Overview: In the District Sales Manager role, you will develop and implement the territory’s growth strategy, with a focus on product specification, conversion and by gathering voice of the customer for new product development opportunities. The District Sales Manager will be accountable to lead, direct and develop a team of sales representatives, that will have the responsibility of achieving the established sales and margin goals, while managing agents, channel partners and end users. In this function you will: Develop the territory strategy, in alignment with the overall region and business strategy. Execute and communicate a compelling strategic value proposition through sales agents, distributors, specifiers, and end users. Plan and direct the efforts of the territory sales teams in securing sales volume through conversion and specifying activities. Gather and leverage the voice of customer to recommend new or modified programs to ensure a competitive position is maintained within the market. Utilize negotiation skills to influence and resolve complex problems and influence all stakeholders to drive results. Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, sets objectives, establishes priorities, and holds accountable by providing timely coaching and feedback. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical industry sales Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship Relocation is not included with this position; only candidates within the 50-mile radius of Dallas/Fort Worth region will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: MBA or advanced degree preferred, from an accredited institution Entrepreneurial leader with proven track record of leading and developing teams through various aspects of the business cycle (growth, downturn) Strong interpersonal and communications skills; ability to establish and maintain relationships Superior organizational agility skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports, peers, and customers internal/external to the organization.
