We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Graduate or Junior Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar) to join our Smart Infrastructure Building Automation team based in Bayswater, VIC. As an Engineering Graduate within the Siemens Smart Infrastructure Building Automation team, you will gain experience across Building Management Systems, HVAC and Building Automation, IoT and Digital Buildings as well as networking and security systems. You will be exposed to a variety of roles within the broader team, including: • Solution engineering, design, and technical support • Working alongside and observing site commissioning and field work • Estimating and Project Management Your daily tasks and responsibilities may include: • Solving unique engineering challenges by working collaboratively with senior engineers, technicians, and clients from across the industry. • Driving, and coordinating project activities • Creation of simulations, systems design, testing and writing technical documents and functional specifications. • Customer interaction and management including technical consulting and project management. In all aspects we are looking for innovative individuals with creative minds in areas of mechanical / electrical engineering, automation, and digitisation. About you • Relevant Undergraduate / Masters Degree – Engineering (Chemical, Oil &Gas/Petroleum/ Mining, Computer Sciences, Data Sciences, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Data Sciences) • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills • Eagerness to learn and grow within the business • Motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible. • Passionate about making a difference and look for opportunities to get involved.
