Job Description

Language Service Sales

Description:

 

  1. Understand and articulate RWS business and solution offerings, unique selling points, and competitive advantages with an emphasis on understanding how solutions solve customer issues.
  2. Develop a strong knowledge of assigned customer base/potential customers/marketplace
  3. Perform strategic and tactical functions to create and sustain long term client relationships by being proactive and responsive to customer needs as well as developing credibility
  4. Build trust across the organization by collaborating with cross functional teams and support overall team goals
  5. Develop sales opportunities with existing and/or new customers  through internet research, trade show lists, referrals, various professional directories and personal investigation
  6. Maintain accurate plans, client account information, and necessary record keeping to ensure efficient information sharing with sale team
  7. Develop project budgets and create proposals
  8. Manage and control pricing and contractual issues
  9. Develop sales strategies and plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals/quotas
  10. Build a productive pipeline and manage each phase of the sales process

 

Required Skills:

 

  1. Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  2. Excellent written and verbal English and communication skills
  3. At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in language service industry
  4. Proven sales life cycle experience with enterprise clients - lead generation through business closing
  5. Proven track record in achieving sales target and customer satisfaction
  6. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  7. Established capabilities managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
