Electrical Design and Validation Team under Data Center Platform Application Engineering (DCPAE) is an engineering team in DCAI.
The scope of Electrical Design and Validation Team is on enabling and technical support to customer's design of Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI) and Power Design quality and reliability at development cycle of Intel Xeon platform.
As an electrical design and validation team manager, you will be tasked with supervising team members to create an energetic and positive work environment. By taking the job, you can ensure electrical engineering design methodologies support product requirements, customer needs and the development processes fall within established timelines. This will allow you to work with internal engineering teams and customers to meet and exceed department goals to ensure future success and growth in the industry.
Job Responsibilities and Duties will include but not limit to:
- Set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
- Plans, provide resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost.
- Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors.
- Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions.
- Provide guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues.
- Plans and schedules daily tasks, use judgment on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices, as inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in CS or EE required
- 10+ years of experience in HW/SI/PI/PD development or customer support experiences in the industry.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with customer/stakeholders with strong presentation skill and solid technical background
- Curiosity and passionate in learning new technology with self-motivation
- Ability to manage ambiguity in workplace, insight to identify new business opportunity during internal/external meeting, smart risk taking

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
