Position Summary:

 

As Business Consultant you will align yourself with Business and IT stakeholders to translate business issues and requirements into Best Practice processes, blueprint, and functional specifications. These deliverables are important for designing and configuring Enterprise Asset management  Business Solutions/Applications such as IBM Maximo.

 

During the software development and implementation, you will be responsible for securing the quality of deliverables, the effectiveness of communication between the implementation teams (Configuration, interfacing, data mapping/conversion, etc) and report to the Project Manager. Besides the project responsibilities you could also be involved in Advisory Services projects, where you will assess and advise clients on their maturity in Asset management and/or EAM systems.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

 

• Assessment of current asset and maintenance management processes
• Facilitation/documentation of EAM system design workshops & Perform EAM System demonstrations
• Facilitation/documentation of process reengineering workshops
• Creation of project and system documentation including process maps, system requirements, data standards, and training materials
• Consulting/educating clients on EAM Best Practices & Conduct training to customers
• Coordinating data design and collection activities
• Oversight of development, testing, and deployment of technical solutions
• Staying current on industry and system knowledge
• Support Sales in RFP responses and quotes
• Controlling the scope of project design

 

What You Bring to The Team:

 

• Key experience in Enterprise Asset Management, Service Management, Facility Management, and/or Supply Chain.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working within Asset intensive industries or Facility Management environments.
• Proven business consultancy or project management experience on IT developments/implementations.
• Experience with design, configuring, and translating requirements into IT solutions.
• Experience with Maximoand-/or with similar business applications. This knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the integration of business solutions with (other) ERP solutions.
• Interpersonal skills and client management expertise with the ability to deliver senior client-level presentations.
• Highly developed analytical and deductive skills to identify and grasp clients’ needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills that will help quickly identify and resolve issues.
• No problems in traveling or working on international projects with work area EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
• Travel indication 10-30%.
