Position Overview: Commercial Finance Manager responsible for reporting, planning, and analysis for the Royal Power Solutions Business. The role includes leading the financial analyses required for quotes, CARs, and ad hoc analysis as required by the Regional Leadership. The role will be a member of the Royal Power finance team. The role will report directly to the Royal Power Finance Director. This position is based out of the Carol Stream, IL manufacturing site. In this function you will: Assist with a wide range of monthly reports covering financial performance measures. Reporting and analysis of past performance plus developing short-term (actual / forecast), mid-term (annual profit plan) and long term (strategic plan) outlooks. Manage and lead the financials for customer quotes. Work closely with the Sales organization, RPS Plants and other functions to create timely and accurate financials. Coordinate or lead the financials for product line CARs. . Work closely with the Sales organization, RPS Plants and other functions to create timely and accurate financials. Manage and lead the financials for RPS program / projects. Manage and lead the financials for ad-hoc RPS financial analysis, financial modeling, sensitivity (what-if) scenarios. Subject matter expert for product line profitability tools (Plex) – ensure accuracy of financials. Coordinate or lead accurate & timely submission of RPS Strat Plan financial requirements. Coordinate and Plan R&D and Capex Budgets Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business from an accredited institution. Understanding of commercial and manufacturing processes. Minimum seven (7) years professional work experience in finance or accounting Proficient in Microsoft Office and Business Intelligence tools. Knowledge of ERP, Business Intelligence and Financial Reporting systems (Oracle, MFGPro, ENCORE, etc.) Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future Preferred Qualifications: Prior professional work experience in Manufacturing, Cost Accounting or Variance Analysis. MBA or MS Operations Management preferred Previous experience in in a manufacturing environment Bilingual skills in Spanish Broad knowledge of key operational systems including sales inventory operations planning (SIOP), materials planning systems (MRP), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and quality systems with diverse experience managing varied and complex manufacturing processes. Must have a strong operational and financial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to lead engage across businesses internally and externally.
