Host
You are the beginning of an exceptional guest experience. As a Host, you will make our guests Feel Welcome from the moment they arrive!

Purpose:        To ensure all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner using appropriate procedures, in accordance with Accor Standards.

Essential Functions:

• Assist manager, supervisor in the opening and closing of the restaurant, bars and lounges.
• Answering phone calls.
• Seating guests.
• Control heavy volume at restaurant entrance.
• Knowledge of hotel property.
• Inform the guest about buffets.
• Attend to and anticipate guest’s needs.
• Familiarization with menu.
• Introduce server to guest.
• Greeting guests. Anticipate guest’s needs to create an amazing experience.
• Knowledge of daily specials.
• Promote all F&B Outlets
• Assign guest checks.
• Follow the Novotel F&B standards
• Introduce the menu to the guests
• Use of Open Table system
• Assist with IRD when required
• Make phone calls and use and appropriate etiquette
• Must be well versed with all hotel amenities and outlets to serve as an ambassador to promote them, including, but not limited to Lima, Vista, Uva and the Fitness Center.
• Be aware of hotel’s events and promote the business
