Receptionist

First impressions are everything and we are looking for an exceptional Receptionist to join the Mercure Townsville! From the moment of arrival, you will take care of our guests through to their departure by ensuring they have a memorable experience with us.

Your experience and skills include:

• Service focused personality is essential; experience is an asset but not a deal breaker
• Confidence and prior experience working with Opera or a related computer system
• High level of communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Exceptional presentation
• Ability to work rostered hours over 7 days

What you will be doing:

• Greet, check-in, respond to requests and settle accounts while providing exceptional service
• Take initiative to add a personalized experience
• Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay through up-selling
• Maintaining the smooth operation of the reception desk on a daily basis.
