The Role
You will be accountable for the management and delivery of RWS’s roadmaps and features covering Language Technology products; initially MultiTrans and assisting with Trados Enterprise as MultiTrans responsibilities diminish over time. This will include:
- Day-to-day management of the products and features, including design, use case development and detailing of user stories, and responding to usage questions from the development team and internal teams such as support and professional services
- Manage product requirements for commercial, transitional, and operational stakeholders
- Development, estimation and planning of statements of work for internal and external customer customizations
- Participation in security questionnaires and RFPs
- Preparation for and participation in internal and external audits, relating to the products and features managed
- Build relationships with key customers (alongside Commercial Manager)
- Assist with the plans and strategy to migrate MultiTrans customers to Trados Enterprise, by identifying key features and benefits
- Prepare OpEx/CapEx reports and signoff with finance/auditors quarterly
Deliverables
- Responsible for the MultiTrans product roadmap and assigned areas of the Trados Enterprise product roadmap.
- Responsible for detailed product requirements
- Accountable for product releases and quality of the release contents
- Prepare release notes, release announcements and both internal and external communications as necessary. Be an active presence on the RWS Community
- Be an evangelist particularly for Trados Enterprise and transitions for legacy products
- Support transition plan with Transition Program Office.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience with MultiTrans technology required, ideally complemented with Trados Enterprise knowledge.
- Experience with the language technology industry, including knowledge of trends and best practices.
- Business analysis or product management experience.
- Experience in managing, delivering, or implementing language technology products desirable.
- Used to working collaboratively.
- Pragmatic problem solver, used to weighing priorities in deliverables, time, and benefit
- Commercial experience, used to justifying and measuring all work in terms of business benefit.
- Experience managing global team.
- Proven track record of delivering to time, budget, and quality.
