We are seeking a strong Scrum Master to work with team in order to deliver the best software solutions to our innovative and industry-leading products. The Scrum Master is responsible for making sure a Scrum team lives by the values and practices of Scrum. Coaches the Delivery Team and does anything possible to help the team perform at their highest level. This involves removing any impediments to progress, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and doing things like working with the Product Owner to make sure the product backlog is in good shape and ready for the next sprint. Currently, IT is defining Future of the Workplace hybrid model where in employees can split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel campus and off-site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for ensuring Scrum theory and practices are understood and enacted (even help those outside the Delivery Team understand so value can be maximized).

• Facilitates Scrum ceremonies and enforces time boxes. Embrace and role model Agile Principles. Teach, mentor, guide and coach the Delivery Team (and organization) on Agile/Scrum/Kanban/Lean principles and practices.

• Coach the Delivery Team in self organization and cross functionality.

• Help remove organizational and team impediments to agility and progress.

• Assist Delivery Team and Product Owner with relentless and continuous improvement in processes and product delivery.

• Embrace and role model servant leadership. Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on growth and problem solving.

• Empowers the Delivery Team and facilitates getting the work done without coercion, assigning or dictating the work. Facilitates discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency and radiating (making visible) information.

• Work with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum and/or agility in the organization.

• Support and educate the Product Owner and Delivery Team, especially with respect to refining (grooming) and managing the backlog.

• Serve and enable the Product Owner and Delivery Team in their quest to delight customers. Help the Delivery Team learn and mature so they can reduce their dependence on the Scrum Master.

• Knowledge of numerous patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum Framework.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or any other related field.

• Excellent organizational analytical written and oral presentation skills.

• Solid facilitation skills that draw the most out of all participants and converge rapidly on an outcome.

• Ability to identify potential issues and facilitate development of good solutions.

• Diligent individual who love their team and are driven detail oriented and dedicated.

• Solid communication skills. Drives communication and delivers content using a thorough understanding of collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.

• Works creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

• Interpersonal service leadership skills to motivate and mobilize team members

• Excellent analytical skills, solid knowledge of IT systems, and advanced skills in analysis tools including Microsoft Excel, Power BI, etc. to assist with measuring team quality, predictability, and sustainability metrics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Overall 10+ years of experience in the IT industry as Scrum Master, business analyst, solution analyst or any related roles

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

• Experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry

• Experience in Agile/SAFe methodologies including tools used for work planning and tracking such as; Rally, Jira, Jira Align etc.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
