As an SDM for APJ you will join a small but motivated team of SDMs that seeks to drive Intel's client and data centric business with Lenovo across the APJ region.
In addition to engaging with Lenovo constituents in APJ the role will focus on driving growth in subsegments where Intel is focused on driving technology innovation - such as gaming, premium thin and light, EVO, vPro, Cloud and AI. The role will involve driving business acceleration through a variety of go-to-market processes and tools that form part of Intel's strategic alliance with Lenovo. You will be measured both on sell-to and sell-with efforts in driving consumption of Intel's products and technologies with Lenovo, its customers and its partners. You will be responsible for developing a regional strategy for Intel's business growth with Lenovo while at the same time implementing a broader growth strategy for the account, working closely with the broader Intel sales team in APJ, our pricing and supply teams and business unit stakeholders.
Key areas of focus:
- Building strong relationships with the Lenovo sales team in the region at all levels
- Driving segment level strategies
- Maximizing sales of Intel's products and platforms including SOW opportunities
- Effective use of the sales and marketing tools that are available as part of our strategic alliance with Lenovo
- Go-to-market Sales strategy and execution.
- Ecosystem collaboration across different routes to market
- Engaging and partnering with sales, retail sales, pricing and marketing stakeholders at Intel to drive business with Lenovo
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Prior sales experience in managing multinational alliances and partnerships
- Demonstrated cross-functional team collaboration across teams
- Clear and confident communicator to a range of audiences from Sales / Product VPs, Directors to their teams
- Reasonably good technical knowledge of the PC and Data Centre market and technologies
- The candidate should be able to appreciate and articulate the value of Intel's Client (PC) and DCAI (Data Centre and AI) products and platforms
- Self-driven and willing to work as part of a global account team
This is a commissioned role.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Engineering Computer Science or relevant subject area
- 7 years+ of prior experience in a sales role Managing alliances and partnerships would be an added advantage
- Prior experience in account sales will be an added advantage
- Fluent in Japanese and English verbal and written.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
