Test Lead:

Overview of Job:-

Reporting directly to Team Lead, the Test Lead is part of a team focused on driving and delivering quality testing results for clients. Having unique or exceptional technical and team leading skills, this individual understands the software quality and localization industry and contributes to continuous improvement in the delivery of testing services. The Test Lead will interact with RWS clients, coordinate with colleagues within RWS Global Test Labs and has experience in cross-platform and mobile software testing, test plan writing and proven experience supervising test teams. From time to time, the Test Lead will also be required to support Localization Engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage linguistic and functional testers
• Manage operational and technical aspects of testing projects
• Lead all project management and client communications
• Coordinate projects with other Test Labs
• Create/validate test plans, test cases, test scripts, verification protocols
• Review and QA bug reports
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Provide regular KPI and status reports
• Support any assigned Localization Engineering projects

Competences and Experience

• Technical testing or software development background having 3 years of experience in testing and 2+ years’ experience in test leading
• Good spoken and written English skills
• Client facing experience
• Practical experience with common test management tools
• Clear understanding of various software development and testing processes
• Ability to efficiently and professionally handle fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work independently in an international team setting
• Details oriented
