Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will help us in the development and deployment of Marketing and communications strategies and initiatives at the property level. Handle media visits and inquiries, site tours, oversee filming and photoshoot activity. Execute and participate in promotional and marketing efforts. Support the development and maintenance of all hotel collateral, communications, partnerships, co-marketing to promote the Hotel in a unique and varied role. What you will be doing:

  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touchpoints, participating in events, documenting business processes, and providing additional sales support
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Active oversight for all digital marketing activities. Including content creation, analytics and preparing seasonal tactical plans for the property. This will include working closely with Regional digital marketing team to ensure synergies amongst regional and corporate campaigns/strategies.
  • Develop and implement the creation and distribution of collateral (online and traditional) and all sales promotional pieces to support business goals and destination awareness.
  • Sofitel.com and property microsite oversight to ensure content and offer updates are actioned. Aligning microsite content to regional strategies and best practices.
  • Develops meaningful and strategic partnerships with local and external organizations to further brand/product awareness. Collaborate with brand and regional teams.
  • Manage local Public Relations initiatives and work in collaboration with global team for National/International opportunities.
  • Working with Revenue Management to monitor rate parity and alignment with COR campaigns.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network

Your experience and skills include:

  • Marketing degree, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
  • Proven experience designing interactive applications and networking platforms
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Established press and media contacts
