Job Description
Eaton is looking for a Quality Manager based in our Porto Feliz - SP site to join our team. This position is responsible for the management of the quality department in Porto Feliz, including quality system, factory quality control, electrical tests, supplier quality, warranty processes and KPI management. Responsible for supporting factory leadership in meeting business and financial goals, developing and maintaining robust manufacturing processes and promoting continuous improvement. Responsible for the area of electrical tests necessary to verify the conformity of products with the requirements of customers that result in meeting the defined quality standard and safety standards. In addition, this position is needed to sustain the projects, to ensure the correct implementation of productive and effective actions for local operations. He/She will be responsible for: Key player for safety promotion at the site; Quality management for Porto Feliz campus, including non-conformance costs, ISO audits, customer satisfaction; Root-cause analysis; Supplier development and quality monitoring; Factory quality control; Management and leadership for the team determining efficient and understandable working methods and incorporate improvements to manufacturing; Provide adequate customer service / technical assistance in the warranty processes; Define priorities, as well as finding solutions for quality improvement, processes and cost reduction; Promotion of continuous improvement in all processes in the company. “When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. An official proof document is mandatory for hiring. #LI-JF1 Qualifications Education and Skills required to meet position qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; Experience in Manufacturing Engineering / Electrical; Lead auditor ISO9001:2015; Experience with SAP QM Module; Fluent English. Education and Skills desirable to meet position qualifications: Post-graduation in Quality Management; Technical knowledge in the area of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, production and systems application; Apply statistical methods in capability studies to improve the level of quality of production processes; Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, EBS and Quality Systems; Ability to Lead multiple and complex projects, relationships and influence across organizational boundaries; Depth knowledge of electrical products; Advanced financial knowledge for capital plan, asset management, project management, budgeting and profit planning; Must have the ability to motivate, counsel, and constructively deal with people at all levels; Must be capable of sustained learning and improvement; Committed to customer satisfaction improvement; Industry 4.0 and digitalization basic knowledge.
