The IP Engineering Group (IPG) develops soft and hard IP that are fundamental to the creation of Intel products.

 

We are seeking an experienced, self-directed, motivated Data Scientist who uses predictive modeling, statistics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights from structured and unstructured data. Ready to develop software, algorithms, and build data driven apps to translate data into intelligence, solve a variety of business problems and enable business strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Science and/or Machine Learning
• 2 years related professional industry experience
• Expertise in relational database structures, SSAS, SOA, SAAS, and Cloud based technologies
• Machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
• Excellent proficiency with ETL/ELT techniques, tools, and processes.
• Solid grasp of good database design, especially analytical databases.
• Broad familiarity with tools and techniques related to data quality and master data processes.
• Competency with Python programming language
• Experience with any of the following is a plus: PowerBI, PowerQuery, PowerApps, SharePoint, PowerShell, SqlServer, and C#
• Solid customer engagement/communications - willingness to understand business process.
• Independent, driven and accountable work culture is must.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
