This intern will focus on enabling QAT (Quick Assist Technology) accelerator, which is critical to Intel and Microsoft business imperatives. The enablement targets Windows Server Operating system. The scope includes development of system software, test matrix, debugging tools and performance analysis and tuning..

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and/or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must be pursuing and be actively enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related technical field

6+ month's experience in:

• C/C++
• Operating Systems
• Computer Architecture
• Scripting language to parse and analyze performance or trace data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in
• Kernel mode programing
• Driver programing
• Hypervisor architecture and programming
