Job Description
- Working with core project team to understand new/transfer project background, eg. New project schedule, product information etc.
- Implement Purchasing strategy, source/select suitable supplier for new parts in new/transfer projects。 Cooperate with R&D, PUQ and Strategic Buyer for supplier audit if needed.
- Cooperate with R&D, understand our requirement for new parts, communicate our requirement to suppliers and require for quotation (RFQ) for new parts, negotiate to make sure target BOM cost can be met. Ensure data available and accurate in system for procurement.
- Release tooling, initial samples PO, cooperate with Quality department to release new parts.
- Material procurement for sample run for new parts according to project schedule.
- Monitor project material available status, communicate the material status to team, coordinate with related parties to ensure projects launching on time.
- Cooperate with Quality and Procurement department on handling new parts’ quality and delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Major in Mechanical, Electronic, Industrial Engineering preferred (Technical background is a must.);
- Multinational company working experience;
- ERP system concept;
- Minimum 3-year experience on Purchasing and Supply Chain Management or project management/coordination;
- Knowledge of Microsoft office application software;
- Good command of written and oral English.
