Job Description

Overview:
The purpose of the Project Manager team is to manage, track and report on large, complex, and mission critical Portfolio Solutions projects to deliver against project goals efficiently and effectively.
Within the role, you will apply significant project management, leadership, and functional expertise to ensure project success. With the support of your team, you will orchestrate and influence the cross-functional project team and stakeholders to achieve key milestone and report on the results for the program.

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Be the main contact for the project and ensures all aspects of the project are meeting agreed objectives 
* Manages all types of projects, often complex or critical projects, establishing the overall objectives and approach (e.g., financial targets, project methodology, resourcing and staffing, and deliverables.)  
* Applies project management and functional expertise to complex and/or critical projects to ensure clear expectations are set, an effective course of action is in place, and timeline and financial goals are met
* Identifies opportunities for improvement, especially across broad and complex processes, which have a significant impact on results. 
* Establish program objectives and design change projects with Portfolio Solutions management
* Evaluate and determine project dependencies
* Organize stakeholders and align expectations, roles and responsibilities for each project
* Creates/ensures detailed project, implementation, and/or action plans area created for each project
* Tracking and successful execution of key Portfolio Solutions Programs
* Monitors progress for each project and ensures meets stated objectives/outcomes
* Monitors, addresses and escalates risks, issues and dependencies
* Manage and participates in project reviews, approvals, and gating processes

Experience Required: 
* Demonstrates understanding of business concepts, strategy, structures and processes

* Makes timely decisions after carefully considering alternative courses of action, evaluating the facts, goals, constraints, and risks and applying sound judgement
* Systematically and logically identifies and weighs options to resolve problems, generating solutions after reviewing all relevant information, including risks and the impact of potential solutions
* Successfully achieves results, diligently working to overcome obstacles to achieve goals

* Shows a genuine effort to work as a unified organization to achieve business goals
