CS Central Engineering (CSCE) owns the strategic and systematic development, standardization, implementation, and measurement of key central engineering functions to drive efficiency, reliability, and world class cost optimization to support our global facilities portfolio. The scope of the Central Engineering Organization within Corporate Serviced consists of asset management, cost engineering, enabling growth, and automation.

Central Engineering - Automation team is seeking a passionate Data Visualization Engineer, who can take complex datasets and turn them into insightful dashboards and/or reports. The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working in a fast paced, data-driven, and results-oriented engineering environment, with a track record of innovation. You will possess the skills to understand the customers use-case and generate a story board to effectively communicate with the customer to ensure all parties are aligned. Most importantly you enjoy continues learning, mentoring, adapting, and driving change toward modern solutions.

As a CSCE-A Data Visualization Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Use modern reporting tools to streamline and automate the manual, repetitive reporting processes, bringing new insights to leaders in an interactive and timely manner.
  • Use data modeling, prototyping, statistics, data mining, scenario analysis to collect, explore, and extract insights and present them using Power BI. Develop scaled data models for the Enterprise to proliferate operational data, increase automation, and drive decision useful information.
  • Act as a Data Translator to communicate and understand the value of analytic work, articulate, and advocate for work based on estimated/calculated business impact with Senior Leadership.
  • Influence IT and other partner orgs on needs for data infrastructure, tools, etc.
  • Work to increase data proficiency for Corporate Services through development and deployment of trainings.
  • Skills to expand beyond descriptive analytics to drive more data derived insights through use of tools/platforms such as Power BI, Visual Studio, SSAS, Proficiency in scripting languages.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study with 5+ years of experience.
    • 2+ years of experience creating reports in Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working level experience with semiconductor equipment (Fab and/or Sub Fab).
  • Familiarity with systems and data environments.
  • Scripting languages (i.e., SQL, Python, PowerShell, R, API, HTML, XML, Regex).
  • Formula expression languages (i.e., DAX).
  • Agile Project Management using Jira and Jira Align
  • Understanding of Manufacturing or Corporate Services Business Model.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
