The LTD Factory Infrastructure (FI) department is within Logic Technology Development (LTD) team and is inclusive of Industrial Engineering, Tool Install Design, Facilities Design and Planning, and Tool Install Execution.
LTD Tool Installs are managed through EPCOT (Equipment Planning and Coordination Team) in an integrated effort with the module Area Coordinators, Facilities Construction Enterprise (FCE), and multiple support teams. The LTD EPCOT Tool Install Engineer will be working directly with the FI Tool Install Manager and will manage the scope of integration, change controls, project planning, schedule integration, base build/progressive build scope, refinement of tool install process procedures, program execution strategies, tool negative float resolution, and back up resource to other EPCOT Team roles.
The role requires demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of all the aspects of Tool Install planning and execution, as well as project management, team leadership, project integration, including but not limited to performing the following:
- Weekly scope change and integration planning throughout the project teams
- Identify and publish tool negative float indicators, critical gaps, and resolution plans
- Partner with the project team owners to review/revise the tool install process/procedures to improve efficiencies, documentation, and training
- Refine the program execution strategies (Fast Track, Ultra Fast Track, Fast and Furious) including weekly indicators, issue resolution, and readiness planning.
- Project support teams integration, forecasting , and readiness based on current Long Range Plan (LRP) commitments
- Manage the Reference Package (RP) planning and Virtual Factory (VF) transfer for each technology
- Develop an understanding of all aspect of Tool Install and be the EPCOT Team backup
- Manage and participate in the management of LTD tool decon/demo (6D)
- Oversight of EPCOT programs on campus

Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or a related technical field with 7+ years of tool Install experience
OR a Master's degree in an Engineering discipline with 5+ years of tool install experience.
- And, 5 + years of experience in project management / or construction management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 + years of experience either as a people manager or as formal leader of team(s) with five or more people responsible for technical deliverables.
- 6 + plus years of experience within the semiconductor industry

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
