Job Description

In this role, you will be the customer interface to manage your Customers' Quality and Reliability requirements so that Solidigm is able to deliver a world class experience. You will be responsible to reach out to customers proactively to assess their needs and deliver those requirements to internal product development teams and manufacturing/operations. The goal is to establish a high degree of customer satisfaction as it relates to respected to quality and reliability goals during the qualification phase and improved responsiveness in a production environment. You will be the voice of the customer on quality and reliability within Solidigm. You will the resolution owner for technical and operational quality issue resolution support to customers.
 

This role will require direct interaction with the Q&R teams of the customers and their ODMs. Successful Candidate will be able to perform the following skills: (1) Interacting with customers' quality and reliability organizations to understand customer requirements and resolve quality and reliability issues related to the product qualification and ramp of the customers platform(s). (2) Ability to analyze and communicate a product's Q&R results and metrics through the development process to customers. (3) Aligning with Applications Engineering, Operations, business development, and others to ensure quality and reliability goals are achieved and results of products are communicated at each stage of the product life cycle with the customer.

Minimum Qualifications: (1) 3 years of experience in a technical role (product engineering, quality and reliability, technical marketing or similar) (2) Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering Field. (3) Basic understanding of PC/Datacenter industry, computer architecture, and Storage (SSD/HDD). (4) Good verbal communication, technical writing skills, and presentation skills (5) Ability to analyze data with common statistical tools (JMP/excel/etc) and form accurate assessments of what the data indicates.

Desired Qualifications: (1) 5+ years of experience in Solid State Drives with demonstrated understanding of NAND memory technologies, SSD firmware, and SSD hardware. (2) Experience in customer interfacing roles that include influencing the customer's requirements and decisions (4) Working knowledge of quality and reliability assessment tools/methods as it relates to a system (5) Demonstrates use of probability and statistics in previous job roles.  Candidates with significant experience in HDDs (Firmware, Hardware, customer interfacing) will be considered if only lacking SSD experience.
