In general, CSCE owns the strategic and systematic development, standardization, implementation, and measurement of key central engineering functions to drive efficiency, reliability, and world class cost optimization to support our global facilities portfolio.
The scope of the Central Engineering Organization within Corporate Serviced consists of:
Fab, ATM, DC, Labs, and RDSM infrastructure reliability of facility systems and equipment
Asset Management focusing quality and reliability, CS maintenance strategy, business continuity and failure mode and root cause analysis
Cost engineering to meet our Rise 2030 energy conservation goals, to develop the iAMP roadmap and support execution, determine and implement strategic cost reduction opportunities, and the development of total cost of ownership models.
Enabling and Supporting Growth by owning the what if planning execution, the development of site growth assessment plans, site utility infrastructure models, and the global commissioning program/
Automation to drive innovation in order to develop the perfect PM, remote operations, 3D digital management systems, and utility optimization based on idle production tools.
As a Mechanical Engineer - Central Engineering Team your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Subject Matter Expert with regards to all mechanical unit operations in a semiconductor manufacturing facility including - chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handlers, scrubbers, compressors, etc.
Drive, develop and integrate solutions that reduce operational costs, improve reliability and improved operational efficiencies including establishing road maps and communications to the broader organization.
Develop and integrate facility strategies and standards to drive world class reliability.
Gather, analyze and interpret data to build clean and concise messaging to gather input and drive to key decisions.
Conceptualize cross site program level strategies and put those concepts into rapid motion.
Design and integrate a methodology for the development and standardization of key engineering functions
Document and communicate scope, schedule, budget, value statements and risks.
Create and proliferate templates to support tools to CS while standardizing efforts.
Develop ITP reduction strategies from FMEA/LOPA data, ITP data, Maximo asset data, etc.
Drive cross-organizational initiatives and projects.
Participate/engage in the aligned discipline CSET.
Align with VF sites on discipline specific priorities, develop a solution strategy and implementation roadmap.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines within the CE teams to share LL and BKMs.
Collaborate and align with CSTD/PTD on potential changes to current POR to ensure that consideration for efficiency, reliability and cost are accounted for.
Partner with team leaders to establish and execute team strategies and objective.
Help track, manage and complete initiatives across the org that align with roadmap.
Work with cross-site teams to make sure roadmaps are delivered on time, and with highest quality, by incorporating proper checks at every stage of implementation.
Set priorities for the VF, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, and develop employees and mentor across CS.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or any other facility related engineering discipline with 4+ years of experience working in facilities engineering.
Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or any other facility related engineering discipline with 2+ years of experience working in facilities engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
Operations and optimization of Fab facility systems
Identifying reliability projects to reduce ITP's/ITS
Identifying and driving cost savings measures or projects
Developing roadmaps and executing to them while measuring progress against schedule
Project management
