About The Role:
The successful candidate will look after the extensive database of customers as well as prospect and produce qualified leads through outbound calling to decision makers of Corporations. Leads will be generated through marketing programs, individual research and leads from conferences.
The Business Development Representative will follow up on campaigns, cold call targets, existing client base, identify contacts and determine buyers and decision-making influencers. The successful candidate must be technically minded and confident in providing the RWS's technology message generating interest in RWS's solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and gather new clients for RWS
- Look after and upsell to the existing customer database
- Build a strong long-term pipeline
- Deliver revenue growth goals established in conjunction with executive and Divisional management
- Follow up on pipelines for business expansion
- Foster strong client relationships
- Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients of all levels
- Build strong internal relationships with the people responsible for executing RWS Solutions
- Include relevant RWS representatives in appropriate client meetings
- Provide appropriate management updates and solicit feedback and direction when appropriate
- Secure on-site presentation opportunities with high level clients
- Prepare and perform presentations at internal and or external industry events
Requirements:
- 2-4 years selling in Software or have experience in the language industry (knowledge in the Translation supply chain)
- Proficient or native command of Italian and English
- Proven track record of meeting regional sales targets
- Ability to communicate software solutions and ideas in detail and at high level
- Ability to cold call into an organization and identify key decision makers and influencers
- Self-motivated and able to appropriately set and pursue own goals in support of the organization's goals
- Organized, flexible and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously; pays attention to detail and able to report results in a concise format
- Able to plan, organize and follow job activities in accordance with their importance and respond appropriately to changes and interruptions
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred, but not required
- Must be a skilled communicator with a dynamic and engaging phone presence who excels in questioning and listening to determine the prospect's needs
- Must be a fast learner who enjoys self-education
- Must be able to generate well written correspondence to targeted customers
- Focused, polite and persistent; he/she knows how to learn and derive strength
